The Department for International Trade, in partnership with North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC), is offering a trade mission to India to promote the UK's chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients and services sectors as a source of expertise and innovation.
India’s chemicals industry reached $155-160bn in 2013 and forecasts from India’s Draft National Chemical Policy predicts it will reach $373bn by 2022. Alongside this, bilateral trade between India and the UK is growing at a rate of 30-40% a year, and investment is on a similarly strong upward trend.
Join the mission to India to learn more about the market and its business opportunities. UK companies can expect to network and build relationships with senior representatives of organisations such as FICCI, KDPMA, ICC members and Tata Chemicals. Over the course of nine days, delegates will travel to three cities, visit India Pharm Expo, and take part in organised meetings and networking events.
