DIT Host City Observer Programme

7 – 9 August 2017

DIT, in collaboration with UK Government, London agencies and other leading knowledge experts, have put together a unique and exclusive ‘Sports Event Host City Programme’, taking place in London from 7 - 9 August to coincide with the IAAF 2017 Athletics Championships.

The Programme aims to help delegates discover the important role a City plays in the staging of a major sporting event – from planning and delivery to its future impact. Delegates will observe first-hand how London has prepared itself for the staging of another major sporting event, following the success of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
